Palmate, dark green leaves arise from an underground rhizome and give rise to stems bearing light blue or violet, hooded flowers with paler striations in summer. Flowers are attractive to pollinating insects.
Prefers a moisture retentive but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. CARE: All parts of the plant are poisonous
