A compact variety with rosettes of downy, lance-shaped leaves. Spires of rich orange-brown, tubular flowers with darker veining appear in early summer. Flowers are a magnet for bees.

Prefers a moist but well-drained soil in sun, partial or full shade.

Height: 18 - 24 inches / 45 - 60cm

Spread: 12 - 18 inches / 30 - 45cm
