Lovely, saucer-shaped white flowers are speckled with red and appear in late winter, lasting to late spring. Flowers provide an important nectar source for early flying bees.

For a fertile, well-drained soil in full or partial shade. Remove old leaves in December or January. CARE: Harmful if eaten. Handling can irritate the skin.
