A Salvia relative from China. Strong, square-shaped stems clothed in course, green leaves give rise to terminal panicles of lilac-blue flowers in autumn.

Grey-green foliage and terminal panicles of blue flowers, September on. Shrubby appearance, but annual stems to 30’. Part sun to sun. Collected north of Beijing—Z5? Quart pot.
