A beautiful peony with bold, lightly scented, deep crimson red double flowers. Makes a great cut flower.

Prefers a rich, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. When planting do not bury too deep. Keep top of soil in pot level with the top of the planting hole.

Height: 24 - 30 inches / 60 - 75cm                      

Spread: 18 - 30 inches / 45 - 75cm

AGM: The RHS Award of Garden Merit. Plants awarded an AGM are:

  • excellent for ordinary use in appropriate conditions
  • available
  • of good constitution
  • essentially stable in form and colour
  • reasonably resistant to pests and diseases
