A species of candelabra Primula from China. Rosettes of small, evergreen leaves give rise to stems bearing reddish-pink, drooping, bell-shaped flowers in summer. The flowers have distinctive striped calyces and are a magnet for pollinating insects.
Prefers a moist soil in partial shade. Will tolerate boggy soils so makes a great candidate for a bog garden, pond or stream sides.
Height: 10-24 inches / 25-60cm
Spread: 8-12 inches / 20-30cm
