Beautifully coloured flowering and foliage plants for planting in full and partial shade, moist and dry soils. They add seasonal highlights to your borders and containers. We have a wonderful selection of rare, unusual and favourite varieties for the connoisseur, enthusiast or beginner.

Pollinators are so important for our gardens. We have such an exciting range of plants which will encourage a whole entourage of insects to visit and they are some of the most fascinating creatures to watch.

Often overlooked but a wonderful addition to borders, adding amazing texture, colour and height.  Providing winter interest from those beautiful frosted seed heads sparkling like diamonds in the winter sun or simply just watch them move gracefully in the breeze. We find that the plants on the nursery and those grown in our garden at home provide shelter for overwintering insects, nesting material for birds, as well as the stalks and seed heads provide landing stages for our flying visitors.

 

Fantastic foliage plants for those shadier areas of the garden or near a cooling water feature. They add wonderful texture, colour and form to any border or container and there are some which can even tolerate some sun. Perfect for adding a more naturalistic feel to the garden.

We love hostas! Our range increases every year and we have an exciting selection of varieties with varying size, texture, leaf form and colour. Some cultivars are only available in small numbers.
