Large, showy, sparkling white, open, saucer-shaped flowers with rich gold stamens in the centre appear in late summer and autumn.

Prefers a rich, fertile soil in partial shade. Dislikes disturbance once planted. Will spread rapidly once established. Avoid excessive wet in winter.
