Large, nodding, bi-coloured flowers of dark burgundy and white rise from fern-like foliage in late spring and early summer. Flowers are a magnet for bees especially bumbles.
Prefers a moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Will self-seed but seedlings may not have the same colour flowers as parent.
