Will self seed
This is a stunning grass which deserves a place in any garden. Fluffy, arching flowerheads appear in mid-summer and emerge with pinkish tones. As they mature they change through gold to creamy-white by autumn. They move beautifully in the slightest breeze and look wonderful planted in the open border or a container.
Prefers a well-drained soil in full sun or very light shade.
Height: 24 - 48 inches / 60 - 120cm
Spread: 12 - 24 inches / 30 - 60cm
Please note: In summer this plant will have to be cut back for postage.
Lynne’s notes:
This is such a beautiful grass and an absolute delight from July onwards when it flowers. The movement of the feathery flower heads is delightful and planted with Verbena bonariensis and Echinacea it looks wonderful. Being a species it will self seed.
