Wonderful reddish-pink, double flowers have darker red spots and appear in late winter and early spring above leathery, dark green leaves. Flowers are an important nectar source for early flying bees.

Prefers a fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full or partial shade. CARE: Harmful if ingested. Handling may cause skin irritation.
