Smooth, ivory-white leaves with wide and irregular margins in dark green splashed with several shades of green, streaking towards the leaf centre. Edges of the leaves are kinked and lightly twisted. Lavender flowers appear in mid-summer.

Prefers a moist soil in full or partial shade. Needs early morning sun to keep strong variegation.

Height: 8 - 12 inches / 20 - 30cm                      

Spread: 12 - 18 inches / 30 - 45cm

  • excellent for ordinary use in appropriate conditions
  • available
  • of good constitution
  • essentially stable in form and colour
  • reasonably resistant to pests and diseases

Lynne's notes:

I'm a self-confessed hosta-aholic. I can't get enough of them and like ones' children one shouldn't have a favourite. This variety though is one of mine. The kinky, twisted leaves with their irregular margins and streaks keep me captivated for ages and like a good picture there's something different to see everytime you look at it.
