Beautiful variegated leaves are held on striking, deep burgundy stems and leaf bases. In summer, burgundy stems rise above the foliage and carry deep lavender, trumpet-shaped flowers which are a magnet for bees.

Prefers a moist soil in full or partial shade.

Lynne's notes:

This beauty is in my top 3 hostas and when we have them for sale they sell on sight. I have found that the red shading on stems and leaf bases becomes stronger the more mature the plant. It is such a delight that I wound never want to be without a plant in my collection.
