Thick, intense blue leaves are accentuated by yellow-gold, flame-like streaking in the centre of the leaf and green zoning occurs where these colours overlap. Pale lavender flowers appear in mid-summer. Fairly slow to increase.

Prefers a moist soil in full or partial shade. 

Height: 12 - 24 inches / 30 - 60cm                      

Spread: 18 - 30 inches / 45 - 75cm

AGM: The RHS Award of Garden Merit. Plants awarded an AGM are:

  • excellent for ordinary use in appropriate conditions
  • available
  • of good constitution
  • essentially stable in form and colour
  • reasonably resistant to pests and diseases

Currently they are only available for collection from the nursery or from us at one of the many shows we’ll be attending. We hope to offer a mail order service from September 2017.
