A delightful woodlander with bowl-shaped, 8-petalled, white flowers which appear in spring. The common name, twinleaf, arises from the fact that the rich green are leaves are split into two and sit atop tall stems as if a butterfly we’re sitting there. New growth is often flushed with bronze tones  

Prefers a fertile, moisture retentive but well-drained, alkaline soil in shade. May become dormant in hot summers.

Spread: 8 - 12 inches / 20 - 30cm
