Dark green, purple-flushed foliage gives rise to stems bearing striking vivid purple flowers for many weeks in summer. Flowers are a magnet for pollinating insects.

Prefers a rich, moist soil in full sun or partial shade. Can be grown in the border or bog garden. CARE: Protect from slugs and snails. Harmful if ingested.
