Deeply cut almost fern-like, dark green foliage gives rise to tall, strong stems bearing spikes of pale pastel pink, hooded flowers. Flowers appear in mid to late summer and are attractive to pollinating insects. 

Prefers a fertile, moisture retentive but well-drained soil in partial shade. CARE: All parts of the plant are TOXIC. Wear gloves when handling.
