A robust, early flowering variety with large, shapely flowers and one of the largest nivalis varieties. The inner marking appears as an inverted 'V' with broad, flat ends and the pedicel (thin stalk from main stem) is long and kinked which carries the flower at an angle above the foliage. 

Prefers a moisture retentive but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Dormant by summer. A robust variety which clumps up well.

Height: 4 - 10 inches / 10 - 25cm

Spread: 6 - 8 inches / 15 - 20cm
