This is a really choice plant and one for the connoisseur, although easy to grow. Numerous starry white flowers are produced in spring before the leaves unfurl. Attractive maple-like leaves follow which turn wonderful shades of red in the autumn.

Prefers a moist, fertile soil in full or partial shade.
