Bright green, delicate, fern-like foliage gives rise to tall stems bearing loose, airy panicles of beautiful white flowers in summer.
Prefers a fertile, moisture retentive but well-drained soil in partial shade. Some staking required in windy gardens. Grows slower than the species T. delavayi.
Height: 30 - 48 inches / 75 - 120cm
Spread: 24 - 36 inches / 60 - 90cm

I love all thalictrums but the combination of the lime green foliage and bright white flowers is so refreshing. Mid summer is often a cacophony of bright colours and large flowers but the delicate airiness of this Thalictrum is a welcome change and adds that something extra to the border. A real favourite of mine.
