Dark purplish foliage (the colour becomes darker the more sun it receives) gives rise to long spikes of fragrant white flowers in late summer and autumn. Flowers are a magnet for pollinating insects providing valuable food for over wintering species  

Prefers a moisture retentive soil in partial shade. Will tolerate morning or late afternoon sun. CARE: All parts of this plant are poisonous if eaten

Spread: 18 - 24 inches / 45 - 60cm
