A vigorous, tall perennial with reddish stems and palmate  leaves divided into narrow leaflets. Dense, domed clusters of tiny light pink or purple flowers appear in late summer and early autumn and are a magnet for pollinating insects. 

Requires a moisture retentive soil in sun or partial shade. Will tolerate boggy conditions. 

Height: 24-60 inches / 60-150cm

Spread: 24-48 inches / 60-120cm
