Sturdy stems of downy green leaves grow to form a neat cushion of foliage which is topped in spring with bright yellow-green bracts and green flowers. Flowers are attractive to pollinating insects.

Prefers a well-drained soil in full sun. Will tolerate dry conditions when established. CARE: Spent flower stems should be removed down to soil level when they fade but take care as the milky sap can irritate the skin especially in sunshine. Toxic if ingested.
