This is a stunner for the back of the border or centre of an island bed. Tall, branched stems carry dark green leaves which are topped by bright yellow single flowers. The petal reflex from the rich green, cone-like centres. Flowers are a magnet for pollinating insects. 

Prefers a fertile, moisture retentive soil in sun or partial shade but is adaptable to a range of soils.
